I’m based in Dublin, Ireland, and Written Above began from something very simple: my fascination with memories and how certain moments stay with us forever. I’ve always believed that the most meaningful parts of life aren’t the big expensive things, but the exact points in time we wish we could hold onto — the day you met someone, a wedding, the night a child was born, or even a quiet moment that changed everything.

While learning about astronomy, I discovered something beautiful — the night sky is always changing. Because of Earth’s movement and the motion of planets and stars, the sky at a specific date, time, and location forms a unique moment in time. The alignment that existed above you during an important memory can never be experienced again in exactly the same way. That idea stayed with me: every meaningful moment in our lives has its own sky written above it.

Because every order is personalised, customers create their own star map using the customisation tool on our website. Once your design is confirmed, the map is generated using the details you provided and then produced by our professional fine-art printing partners using high quality materials. Each order is prepared specifically for you before being carefully packaged and shipped.
